I'm a web developer currently retraining through the IT Career Switch programme, focusing on modern web development with PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and Bootstrap. I'm building practical, user-focused applications that solve real-world problems.

My journey into tech isn't new. I previously worked as a Junior Software Developer at the Scottish Government, where I developed social programme management systems and learned the importance of clean code, collaboration, and delivering solutions that matter to people. After taking time out for family care responsibilities, I've returned to development with fresh perspective and renewed focus on frontend and full-stack web technologies. What drives me is creating applications that actually work for people - responsive, accessible, and built to last. Whether it's integrating multiple APIs for a comprehensive mapping tool or building offline-capable CRUD systems, I approach every project with practical problem-solving and attention to detail.
